With a month to go before Caesar hits the Fringe, Perhaps it’s time you met some of our cast.
The Proper Villains are proud to Introduce to you, as Gaius Cassius Longinus, the magnificent Andrew Carolane.
A graduate of the VCA, Andy made his professional debut at the age of 16 in the Hot House Theatre Company’s production of Such a Storm, conceived & directed by Mark Gaal.
Since then Andrew has trained at various institutions including WAAPA, Actors Center Australia, the Sydney Stage Combat School and VCA, working with some of the best theatre practitioners in the country.
At VCA Andrew played Aegisthus in The Greeks, Solyony and Baron Tuzenbach in The Three Sisters, Gratiano & the Prince of Arragon in The Merchant of Venice, and Roland & the terrifying Herr Gottfried Swetts “The Devil” in A Bright Room Called Day.
Andrew would like to dedicate his performances to his Father & Mother for giving him Shakespeare at an early age.
