How foolish do your fears seem now, Calpurnia!

A few days ago we met Cassius. Now, from Caesar’s other side – The Proper Villains Proudly Present the exceptional Jennifer Innes as (among others) Calpurnia.

Jen

A graduate of the VCA where she completed postgraduate studies in Voice, Jennifer has worked as an actor, producer, director, and now voice coach in Melbourne, Adelaide and England. Jennifer is.

She spent two years in London studying Classical Theatre at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, appearing in Much Ado about Nothing, Hamlet, The Philistines, The White Devil and The Provok’d Wife.

Melbourne theatre credits include Romeo and Juliet with Essential Theatre, Arcadia, Closer, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Three Sisters, The Merchant of Venice, Picasso at the Lapin Agile and Generous.

Productions in Adelaide and abroad have included Coriolanus, A Passage to India, Chinchilla and Low Level Panic, which Jennifer also produced for her Adelaide-born theatre company Scylla Productions.

In 2010 she directed and produced Liz Lochhead’s Blood and Ice at Chapel off Chapel in Melbourne.

With such experience behind her, we wouldn’t be surprised if she avenges Caesar’s death herself! See her in action – book your tickets now!
